How Offshore Performance, a Poole-based Sea-Doo and Can-Am dealer, grew organic traffic by more than 80% and claimed #1 rankings across dozens of dealer and local search terms in six months.
Offshore Performance is a Poole-based dealer for Sea-Doo personal watercraft and Can-Am vehicles, serving customers across Dorset and the wider UK from Poole Harbour. In a specialist market, being found online for dealer, product and servicing searches is central to filling the showroom and the service diary.
Many of the searches that matter most to a watercraft dealer — ‘Sea-Doo dealer Poole’, ‘Sea-Doo sales Dorset’, ‘personal watercraft dealer UK’ and Can-Am servicing terms — simply were not ranking. Broader product terms like ‘sea-doo’, ‘sea doo boats’ and ‘seadoo rxp’ sat well down the results, so only a fraction of interested buyers were finding the business.
We built out a clear structure of dealer, product and location pages covering the Sea-Doo and Can-Am ranges across Poole, Dorset and the UK, and strengthened local relevance and Google Business Profile signals. The aim was to make Offshore Performance genuinely findable for both the product someone wants and the place they are searching from.
Over six months (January to July 2026), organic performance grew sharply. Traffic first:
| Six-month change | |
|---|---|
| Organic sessions | +80.8% |
| Users from Google | +90.3% |
| Pageviews | +60.9% |
The rankings that carry the most search volume moved as follows. Monthly figures are UK search volume for the term itself:
| Monthly searches | Jan 2026 | Jul 2026 | |
|---|---|---|---|
| can am | 6,600 | #11 | #10 |
| sea-doo | 3,600 | #8 | #3 |
| Can-Am Ryker | 1,000 | not ranking | #9 |
| Can-Am Spyder for sale UK | 390 | not ranking | #4 |
| sea doo pwc for sale | 260 | #1 | #1 |
| sea doo for sale | 210 | #1 | #1 |
| seadoo uk | 170 | #2 | #2 |
| sea doo boats | 140 | #16 | #4 |
| sea doo dealer | 140 | #5 | #2 |
| seadoo dealers | 140 | #4 | #2 |
| sea doo dealer near me | 70 | #3 | #2 |
| seadoo rxp | 90 | #12 | #2 |
Alongside those, more than 20 dealer and local terms went from not ranking at all to #1 — including ‘Sea-Doo dealer Poole’, ‘Sea-Doo sales Dorset’, ‘Sea-Doo jet skis for sale UK’, ‘personal watercraft dealer UK’, ‘Can-Am dealer Poole’ and ‘Can-Am servicing Poole’.
Not everything moved up. The campaign concentrated on dealer, local and core product terms, and a handful of accessory and adjacent terms drifted back over the same period — ‘sea doo spark’ and ‘sea doo watercraft for sale’ among them. That is the normal shape of a focused campaign rather than a fault, but a results table showing only the winners would not be an honest one.
What this does and does not show. These are search positions and traffic figures, taken from Analytics and rank tracking over the same six-month window. They are not revenue figures. Rankings are the part we control and can evidence; what they are worth commercially depends on margins, conversion and capacity, which sit with the client.
Three things did the work here, and none of them are specific to watercraft.
A business with a showroom, a product range and a catchment can follow the same pattern. Realistic timescale is the one shown here: six months for movement of this order, with the earliest signals inside two — the usual pattern.
Six months, January to July 2026. The first ranking movements appeared inside the first two months; the larger product-term gains came later, which is the normal pattern when structural work needs recrawling before it registers.
No, and it would be dishonest to imply otherwise. This is one of our strongest results, published because it is well evidenced. A specialist dealer in a market with modest competition can move faster than a business competing against national chains.
Page structure built out across dealer, product and location terms for the Sea-Doo and Can-Am ranges, plus local relevance work and Google Business Profile signals. No paid advertising is included in these figures - they are organic only.
No. The traffic figures are organic sessions and users from Google, taken from Analytics over a six-month comparison. Paid activity is excluded.
It depends on your market's competitiveness and what you are starting from. A business with a physical location, a defined catchment and a product range people search for by name is the closest match. We would tell you before quoting if we thought the answer was no.
No. Nobody can guarantee rankings, and any agency offering to is selling something it does not control. What we can do is show evidenced work and be clear about what moved and when.
Every package includes an SEO scan of the whole website and SEO image optimisation. The £300 per month package is the strongest value option for most sites that need visible movement without jumping straight into a larger rollout.
If you are not sure which package is right, send the site, the services you want to push, and the locations you care about most. We can point you to the right starting tier.
